We are now in the most important weeks of the fantasy football season. Player values have crystallized. Draft-day cost has given way to in-season performance. Teams are making their final pushes for playoff spots in pursuit of a championship.
Unraveling all that we saw in Week 13 and translating it into Week 14 WR trade targets is where fantasy managers can differentiate themselves.
To help you get your head around it all, here are our thoughts on some WRs to buy low or sell high entering Week 14.
Which WRs Should You Trade for in Fantasy Football?
Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
Few things were more predictable than Drake London posting a complete dud against the New York Jets this week. But the week before, he caught five passes for 91 yards.
Katz’s Other Week 14 Trade Targets: QB | RB | TE
London is not a screaming buy by any means. This is if fantasy managers are frustrated at the result against the Jets, as well as if you can get him for really cheap.
London is just a WR3, but better days are ahead. Three of the Atlanta Falcons’ last four games in the fantasy season are average-to-good matchups. Take a chance on getting a WR3 for next to nothing, but don’t pay anything significant.
Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers
Can you actually buy Keenan Allen low? Probably not. But he is coming off a disappointing game, his first one since Week 7. It’s as good of an opportunity as we’re going to find.
In the fantasy playoffs, the Chargers get the Raiders, Bills, and Broncos. I don’t love the Week 17 matchup, but Allen could be the overall WR1 in Week 16. If your team has a bye and doesn’t have Allen, you should look into acquiring him for anything at par value or better.
Which WRs Should You Trade Away in Fantasy Football?
DeAndre Hopkins, Tennessee Titans
It’s incredible how dependent DeAndre Hopkins has been on touchdowns for his production. He still has just two 100-yard games on the season. But after two straight games with only five targets, Hopkins caught five of 12 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown.
The schedule is about average the rest of the way. This is about the player. Hopkins simply hasn’t been a reliable starting option all season. He is very likely to dud at least one week during the fantasy playoffs. If he’s in your lineup when he does, it could cost you. Get out now if you can.
Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos
He just keeps doing it. Courtland Sutton keeps finding the end zone. He has now scored in all but three games this season. I just refuse to believe this is sustainable.
Sutton caught just two passes against the Houston Texans. Naturally, they went for 77 yards and a touchdown.
The volume is not there for Sutton. He’s seen more than seven targets in just two games this season.
The rest-of-season schedule is very favorable, so don’t just give him away. Still, Sutton looks like the perfect piece to package with another player for a serious WR upgrade to one of the elites.

Should You Trade DeAndre Hopkins for Keenan Allen?
Allen looks every bit like he is still in his prime. But he is prone to duds on weeks when Justin Herbert flops. Hopkins is not done yet, but he has shown far more signs of decline than Allen.

I doubt anyone with Allen is going to suddenly be concerned after one down game. Similarly, I doubt the Allen manager will suddenly be excited about Hopkins. But this is certainly worth trying. If you can package Hopkins with another player to get Allen, you should run and make that deal.
Should You Trade Courtland Sutton for Cooper Kupp?
Cooper Kupp looked as healthy as he has all season against the Browns. Yet, he’s not performing like the Kupp we remember. 15.9 fantasy points used to be a down week for him. That used to be something he would do as a base without a touchdown. Kupp scored on Sunday.
There was some concern the Rams might shut Kupp down if the season got away from them. However, after winning three straight, they are right back in the thick of the playoff race.
Sutton has been better than Kupp over the past six weeks. However, as I indicated above, I don’t really buy it.
Kupp has a tough matchup next week against the Ravens. After that, he has two really soft matchups in his last three. I would be willing to deal Sutton plus another piece for Kupp.
