Mahomes has 35 career games with at least 250 passing yards and three touchdown passes, the most such games since 2018.
Mahomes Best Bet
While it’s safe to say this will be the toughest defense the Chiefs have faced so far this season, will it matter to a player like Mahomes? He’s been terrific in his last two games since that season-opening loss to the Lions, completing over 70% of his pass attempts (71.6%) with five TD passes and one interception.

The only time Mahomes faced the Jets, the result was a 416-yard, five-TD passing game. Of course, that was back in 2020, and the Jets are a much different team now, at least defensively.
New York’s pass defense hasn’t been stellar, ranking in the middle of the pack in the NFL in pass yards per game allowed (222.0, 16th) and 27th in opponent completion percentage (69.4%).
Taking the over on Mahomes’ passing yards may seem like a bit of a reach since he has only surpassed this total in one of his first three games. But it’s prime time, and Mahomes is a much different quarterback with a healthy Travis Kelce.
I’m expecting this to be Mahomes’ best game of the season. Take the over on passing yards.
Patrick Mahomes Best Bet: Over 273.5 passing yards (-115 at DraftKings)
