Fantasy football managers who will be without Travis Kelce this week are going to have to make some tough lineup decisions on who to start or sit at the TE position this week.
Here are some of my start/sit options at the TE position for Week 10 of NFL action.
Which TEs Should You Start in Fantasy This Week?
Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans
The Houston Texans passing offense has started to see some ups and downs after a very fast start this season. While Schultz has been a bit hit or miss, he draws a great fantasy matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, who are giving up more than 10 fantasy points per game to opposing TEs this season.

If the Bengals offense can put the Texans into a pass-heavy game script, then it could be a very busy day for Schultz on Sunday.
Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Baker Mayfield threw two touchdowns against the Texans on Sunday, and both of those scores went to the second-year tight end, Cade Otton. His nine targets, 70 receiving yards, and two touchdowns were all season highs.
If the Bucs struggle to run the ball against the Titans, it could force Mayfield to continue to throw the ball to generate points. Translation: Otton is certainly a streaming option at the TE position in Week 10.
Which TEs Should You Sit in Fantasy This Week?
Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons
The love/hate relationship fantasy managers have with Kyle Pitts has been a roller coaster ride that tests your nerves every week. After catching 11 passes for 130 yards on 17 targets over Weeks 5 and 6, he went right back to modest production with just six receptions for 82 yards on 10 targets over the last two games.
Hopefully, a change under center will help Pitts moving forward, but his role in this offense feels tough to trust heading into a matchup with an Arizona Cardinals defense that has been surprisingly stingy against opposing fantasy TEs in 2023.

Should You Start Dalton Schultz or Cole Kmet?
Schultz is coming off of a monster performance against the Bucs. His 10 receptions for 130 yards on Sunday were a career-high, and he could be very busy against a Bengals unit that has given up an average of 12.6 fantasy points per game to opposing TEs this season.

Cole Kmet was great in his own right with a rookie QB under center against a formidable Saints defense last week. Ultimately, both at are top-10 plays this week, but I would rather roll with Schultz in Week 10.
Should You Start Kyle Pitts or Jonnu Smith?
In the first game with Taylor Heinicke under center, it was Jonnu Smith who had the better fantasy day with five receptions for 100 yards and a score in comparison to Pitts’ four receptions for 56 yards.
Both players are essentially right next to one another in the weekly rankings. Smith has been a bit more boom or bust but has done more with fewer targets this season than Pitts. I’ll give Pitts the starting nod by a very small amount.
