Fantasy football managers who will be without Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, and Tua Tagovailoa this week are going to have to make some tough lineup decisions on who to start or sit at the QB position this week.
Here are some of my start/sit options at the QB position for Week 10 of NFL action.
Which QBs Should You Start in Fantasy This Week?
Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions offense draws a favorable matchup against a Los Angeles Chargers defensive unit that has been giving up the most passing yards in the league on a per-game basis (297 yards) heading into Week 9. The Chargers have managed to fare a little better against some of the weaker offenses in the league, but the defense has still been consistently torched through the first half of the season.

Lions quarterback Jared Goff has thrown for over 270 yards in three straight games and could continue to produce another big passing performance if this game turns into a high-scoring affair. Goff is a fringe top-10 play at the quarterback position in Week 10.
Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud stole the show with his outstanding 470-yard, five-TD performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but the other signal-caller also put together a pretty solid performance in his own right.
Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield threw for 265 yards and two scores against the Texans, which was good for 23 fantasy points and a top-10 finish at the QB position in Week 9. This week, he’ll draw a matchup against the Tennessee Titans, who have given up a handful of big performances through the air this season.
Which QBs Should You Sit in Fantasy This Week?
Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos went into their bye week riding high off of an upset victory against the Kansas City Chiefs but will face another formidable challenge in Week 10 against the Buffalo Bills.
The Bills defense has been very stingy against opposing quarterbacks this season, holding opposing signal callers to less than 14 fantasy points per game heading into Week 9. You can find better streaming options than Wilson in Week 10.

Should You Start Jared Goff or C.J. Stroud?
Stroud is coming off a historic performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His five touchdown passes in Week 9 were in part due to the fact the offense simply hasn’t been able to run the ball in 2023. This gives him a fantasy floor and ceiling, which has started to enter QB1 consideration in fantasy football.

Goff has been great in his own right this season, but the return of David Montgomery could lead to the Lions leaning on the running game when they get in close, which could cap Goff’s fantasy ceiling a little bit moving forward. In a game that could be high-scoring, Stroud feels like the better fantasy option in Week 10.
Should You Start Deshaun Watson or Russell Wilson?
It feels like forever since Deshaun Watson was able to finish a complete game in 2023. However, his 219 yards and two passing scores showed Watson is still fully capable of being a fantasy producer at the QB position this season. His matchup against the Baltimore Ravens is certainly not ideal, but neither is Wilson’s matchup against the Bills.
Ultimately, I trust Watson and the Browns offense slightly more than Wilson and the Broncos, which has me rolling with Watson in Week 10.
