The high rate of turnover, shorter shelf life, and higher rate of injury make the running back position a very volatile market in the world of dynasty fantasy football.
With that in mind, here are my updated dynasty RB rankings to help guide you as we head into Week 16.

Dynasty Fantasy Football RB Risers After Week 15
Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers
The elite level of production from San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey this season has been nothing short of MVP-worthy.
His 1,801 total yards from scrimmage to go with 20 total TDs have made him the top fantasy producer this year, which has quickly reminded fantasy managers just how dominant CMC can be when he is healthy and at the top of his game.

The only reasons he isn’t atop this list is because of his age — he’ll turn 28 next summer — and some past durability issues that haven’t reared their ugly head since he put on a Niners uniform.
His elite production still has him as one of the most valuable dynasty assets in all of fantasy football at the moment.
Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams
When you take into consideration his age, leading role in the Los Angeles Rams backfield, and elite production throughout the 2023 season, one could certainly make a compelling case that Williams should be much higher on this list.
Only two RBs are averaging over 20 fantasy points per game in PPR formats in 2023: the aforementioned McCaffrey, and Williams.
His 1,145 total yards and 11 touchdowns in just 10 games this season have made him a fantasy asset that has come out of nowhere in his second year to burst onto the fantasy scene.
Assuming Sean McVay is the team’s head coach heading into 2024, it is hard to imagine that Williams won’t be the leading man in this Rams backfield next season.
