Dynasty Risers After Week 14
Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers
After finishing his outstanding 2022 campaign on a bit of a somber note with a torn UCL in the NFC Championship Game, San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy has done nothing but confirm the organization’s decision to part ways with Trey Lance with his outstanding performance throughout the 2023 season.
His 3,553 passing yards to go with 25 TDs and just seven interceptions have him firmly in the MVP conversation, which bodes very well for his dynasty outlook as the 49ers’ signal-caller for the foreseeable future.

Sure, Purdy may not possess the dual-threat capabilities of some of the young signal-callers ranked above him on this list, but his fantasy floor in this offense with these playmakers makes him an incredibly valuable asset in Superflex leagues moving forward.
In his first 18 games as an NFL starting quarterback, Purdy has thrown for multiple scores in 12 contests. The scary thing is he might be getting better moving forward.
Over his last six games, Purdy has thrown 295+ yards on five occasions and for 14 TDs over that span. He has already shown a veteran’s command of this offensive system, which makes him a perfect fit to produce great numbers for years to come.
The doubters will likely point to Purdy’s fantasy value being closely tied to elite players like Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and Brandon Aiyuk doing most of the heavy lifting for him.
However, we never saw consistent production like this from Jimmy Garoppolo or Trey Lance with the same cast of characters, which is exactly why the team decided to make the move to Purdy.
If you want to continue to doubt Purdy’s long-term dynasty value because of his favorable situation, then that’s fine. However, you will only have yourself to blame if this kid continues to produce at an elite level.
