Dynasty Risers After Week 14
Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals
The ascent of Arizona Cardinals TE Trey McBride up the depth chart was not a mistake. The organization’s decision to part ways with Zach Ertz was not a mistake. Perhaps, McBride’s recent run of elite production at the TE position isn’t a mistake, either.
Since Ertz was sent to injured reserve ahead of the team’s Week 8 contest against the Baltimore Ravens, McBride is the TE4 in full-PPR formats with 41 receptions for 440 yards and two scores.
For some context, he trails only Evan Engram in receptions, only T.J. Hockenson and George Kittle in receiving yards, and only Hockenson and David Njoku in targets.

If you just include McBride’s numbers from when QB Kyler Murray returned to the lineup since Week 10, then he’s the highest-scoring TE in all of fantasy football on a per-game basis.
The days where you could get McBride at a significant discount via trade are long gone. Yet, his recent production shows us that he could be a fantasy force in TE premium leagues for years to come.
