It’s always difficult to properly value the quarterback position in fantasy football for trading purposes. Eight weeks into the season, values have shifted dramatically. Unraveling all that we saw in Week 10 and translating it into Week 11 QB trade targets is where fantasy managers can differentiate themselves.
To help you get your head around it all, here are our thoughts on some QBs to buy low or sell high entering Week 11.
Which QBs Should You Trade for in Fantasy Football?
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
Some might look at Lamar Jackson’s one-touchdown, two-interception performance in a loss to the Browns and be worried. The reality is Jackson has really been victimized by bad luck and touchdown variance.
Jackson has actually played really well this season. Yet, he hasn’t scored over 15 fantasy points in three straight games.
Katz’s Other Week 11 Trade Targets: WR | TE | RB
The Ravens do still have their bye in front of them, which isn’t great. But there is good news. The Ravens’ remaining schedule is mostly favorable for the passing game.
Jackson remains one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. His upside is still as high as ever. If your team is safely in the playoffs but struggling at QB, Jackson is the guy to target.
Which QBs Should You Trade Away in Fantasy Football?
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
Over the past five weeks (four games), Dak Prescott has been the best quarterback in fantasy, and it hasn’t been close.
With Tony Pollard ineffective on the ground, the Cowboys have gone to an extremely pass-heavy attack, and it’s worked. Additionally, their schedule is very nice going forward. This is not me raising any alarms about Prescott.
This is just me pointing out how amazing Prescott has been. If someone out there wants to buy high, and you can get one of Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, or Patrick Mahomes, you should make that move. Otherwise, there’s an argument to be made for Prescott as the rest-of-season QB4.

Should You Trade Dak Prescott for Justin Fields?
Before the season started, Justin Fields was valued closer to the elite QB1s than he was to a low-end QB1 like Dak Prescott. But Fields has now missed four straight games, and Prescott has been the overall QB1 over that span.
We know Fields still has that elite upside. He flashed it in the two games before he got hurt, scoring 28.9 and 32.98 fantasy points. While I do believe Fields can get back to being that guy, there’s no denying Prescott is the better quarterback.

I prefer my fantasy quarterbacks to be on good offenses and on teams that are competitive. Neither is the case for the Bears.
Prescott’s rest-of-season schedule is excellent. He’s past his bye. And the Cowboys have become a total pass-first offense with the struggles of their ground game. Given how well it’s been working, I don’t expect them to stop. Hang onto Prescott here.
Should You Trade Tua Tagovailoa for Lamar Jackson?
Lamar Jackson also possesses elite upside. He has three games this season with over 28 fantasy points. But Jackson has had a scary low floor as well.
Over the past three weeks, Jackson’s best game has been 15.02 fantasy points. He now has five games at that number or lower on the season.
The good news is the Ravens’ remaining schedule is quite conducive to potential shootouts. We want Baltimore playing in high-scoring games and having to go shot for shot with quality opposing offenses.
With that said, the Ravens also still have their bye week in front of them. The Dolphins just had their bye, and Tua Tagovailoa has also been very good this season, with four games of 22+ fantasy points.
Even so, the Dolphins’ remaining schedule is brutal. Six of their final seven games, including all three fantasy playoff weeks, are against top-10 pass defenses. The Dolphins have the weapons to overcome it, but without any semblance of a rushing floor, Tagovailoa will be heavily reliant on throwing touchdowns against defenses that don’t like to give them up. As a result, I would trade Tua for Jackson.
