The Top QBs To Start in Week 7
Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
Matthew Stafford didn’t quite have the day we hoped for against the Arizona Cardinals, but he still managed to find Cooper Kupp for a score to somewhat salvage his fantasy day.
MORE: Fantasy Week 7 QB Start/Sit
The Los Angeles Rams leaned on the running game heavily in the second half, leading to just 24 passing attempts from Stafford, which was easily his lowest mark of the season.
Next, he’ll get a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that has had some issues slowing down passing attacks this season. I could see a bounce-back performance from the Rams passing game in Week 7.
Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers
Brock Purdy finally had a bad game they can reference when trying to dismiss his early success under center as the leading man for the San Francisco 49ers.
I have no issue calling a spade a spade. Purdy played terribly against the Cleveland Browns.
However, the first truly bad game of his NFL career came against the league’s best defense under windy and rainy conditions while losing Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel.
It will be very interesting to see how he bounces back against a Minnesota Vikings defense that is vulnerable in the secondary.
