The Top WRs To Start in Week 7
Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Chargers
It only took six weeks, but Puka Nacua finally put up a game of fewer than 10 fantasy points. Seven targets in Week 6 tied a season low, while his four receptions for 26 yards were easily the lowest marks of his rookie campaign.
MORE: Fantasy Week 7 WR Start/Sit
Nacua nearly salvaged his fantasy day with a missed opportunity on a diving catch attempt in the end zone that he was unable to secure fully through contact with the ground.
The Week 6 stat line is disappointing for fantasy managers, but Nacua is still very involved in a pass-heavy scheme, which should continue to reap fantasy benefits against a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that runs a lot of zone coverage … and Nacua destroys zone coverage.
Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens
Zay Flowers finally scored his first touchdown of the season against the Tennessee Titans, which helped him register his best fantasy outing since the season opener.
Flowers is the most targeted pass catcher on the team and has a sizable target gap between himself and the next receiver on the Baltimore Ravens roster.
While Flowers had another nice day, it still feels like there is some meat left on the bone every week. If Flowers and Lamar Jackson can ever get fully in sync on their deeper shots down the field, then Flowers could begin to flirt with top-15 consideration every week at the WR position.
