WWE Star Clowns Jimmy Uso Over Viral Footage of Ex-Bloodline Member’s Awkward Slip

Former tag team champion Jimmy Uso has struggled to establish himself as a solo wrestler over the past few months. His road to WrestleMania remains unclear, as no official announcement has been made yet.

On the March 14 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Uso made it clear that he has his eyes on the United States Championship. However, he accidentally referred to it as the “U.S. Tag Title,” which led to him being trolled by many — including Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits.

    Jimmy Uso’s Botch on SmackDown

This week’s SmackDown kicked off with an exciting six-man tag team match featuring The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu) against Jimmy Uso, LA Knight, and Braun Strowman. Although The Bloodline suffered a loss, the brawl between the six men continued even after the match.

But before the match, Uso confronted Knight and made it clear that he wanted to win the United States Championship. However, in a hilarious slip-up, he mistakenly called it the “U.S. Tag Title.” Following this botch, many took to social media to poke fun at him, including Dawkins.

Later that night, The Street Profits competed in the main event, where they defeated DIY to become the new tag team champions. After the show, Dawkins shared a post mocking Uso’s mistake.

“What’s better than winning the tag titles?! Winning the US tag titles. Shoutout to @WWEUsos.”

Dawkins wasn’t the only one to mention it. Another WWE star, Damian Priest, also joined in on the fun, taking to X to highlight Uso’s slip-up while sarcastically suggesting an alliance.

Though the post was likely made in jest, Big Jim wasn’t interested, simply commenting “no yeet” on the former World Heavyweight Champion’s tweet.

    Uso’s WrestleMania Plans

While Jey Uso has thrived since leaving The Bloodline to establish himself as a singles star, his brother Jimmy has struggled to do the same.

The lone warrior has set his sights on the U.S. title, but as of now, no official opponent has been announced for WrestleMania. Meanwhile, Jey Uso, who won this year’s Royal Rumble, is set to challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at The Show of Shows.

Last year, the Uso brothers faced off against each other on the grand stage and also played a role in the iconic Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes match. It will be interesting to see if Jimmy gets a shot at the U.S. title at WrestleMania or if he will be left out of the event altogether.
