Former tag team champion Jade Cargill made a shocking return at Elimination Chamber, marking her first WWE appearance since being attacked by a previously unknown assailant in November — who we now know was Naomi.
While many fans support Cargill’s pursuit of revenge, a WWE Hall of Famer recently spoke out in support of Naomi. However, Cargill’s blunt response to the legend made her intentions clear once again.
WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi Supports Naomi
The entire arena at WWE’s premium live event in Toronto was stunned when Cargill attacked Naomi instead of Liv Morgan, who had been the prime suspect in the November attack. Bianca Belair looked heartbroken as she watched one of her teammates take down the other while she was stuck in a pod of the Elimination Chamber.
Determined to uncover the truth, Belair confronted Naomi the following Friday night on SmackDown, asking if the rumors were true — that she was the one who attacked Cargill.
During an emotional segment, Naomi admitted it. As a result, Belair walked out, ultimately ending their friendship. Then, The Storm came out to attack Naomi again.
One could argue that Naomi is going through a tough time, but she recently received some much-needed support from her father-in-law, Rikishi. The wrestling legend addressed the situation on his “Rikishi Fatu Off The Top” podcast, sending a warning to Cargill and making it clear that the entire family stands behind Naomi.
“One thing I know about Trin, Trin’s been through a lot. She’s not a rookie in the game, and you can rest assured she’s a part of this family here 100%. We backing her up 100%. The wrong thing that Jade has done was put her hands on my daughter-in-law. That right there, my respect, as far as for Jade, until I hear further explanation of why did this even go that far, then I can possibly, possibly, forgive her, maybe,” he said.
Jade Cargill Responds to Rikishi
Cargill took to X to respond to Rikishi, making it clear she didn’t care about his opinion and that Naomi was “dead wrong” and would get what was coming to her.
“I don’t give a damn @TheREALRIKISHI! Your ‘daughter’ was dead wrong, and she’s going to get everything coming to her b**** a**!” Cargill wrote on X.
Cargill’s revenge tour has just begun, and this rivalry is only heating up. While an official announcement has yet to be made, the two are expected to face off at WrestleMania 41.
