A heated contest on WWE NXT between Cora Jade and Jordynne Grace was brought to an abrupt stop after Jade was unable to continue. The wrestling world felt strong concern for Jade, considering she had only been back in the ring for a few months after a lengthy absence with an ACL injury.
Cora Jade’s Injury Update
The match between Grace and Jade was off to a fiery start, with TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich watching from ringside. Slamovich, who will defend her championship against Jade at TNA Sacrifice, was there to keep an eye on her upcoming challenger.
Unfortunately, when Jade took to the corner with what seemed like a serious injury, the referees instantly put a stop to the match.
Cora Jade couldn't continue the match due to her knee injury, and the ref threw up the X sign. She left accompanied by the doctor.

The injury, which did look like it could be serious, was a cause for concern after the match and many fans were worried about the status of the injury. Luckily, we got an update on her status shortly after NXT.
Jade took to X and silenced any rumblings of a serious injury. She made it clear that she just got rocked for a second, but her knees are okay, at least. While Jade seemingly avoided serious injury, she did appreciate the concern from the fans.

Grace and Jade were in the middle of a solid match before this unfortunate occurrence happened, and one has to wonder if we’ll get a chance to see these two lock up again in the near future. As of now, both women have their hands full.
What’s Next for Jordynne Grace and Jade?
Grace has a massive match coming up at NXT Roadblock, which takes place inside the Theater at Madison Square Garden.
The match against Roxanne Perez is a rematch of their excellent contest at NXT Battleground in June 2024 for the NXT Women’s Championship. This time around, the match won’t be for titles or any accolades — just bragging rights.
Will Grace pick up the victory this time? Or will Perez find a way to get the job done? This should be an excellent match between two of the best women in the wrestling world.
As for Jade, she’s not listed on the Roadblock card, but it’s certainly possible she shows up to make her presence felt. Will she play a role in the Perez vs. Grace match? Could she cause Grace to lose?
Nevertheless, Jade seems hellbent on bringing the TNA Knockouts title back to NXT at Sacrifice. It remains to be seen if she will prevail, but it looks like she dodged a serious injury and will be healthy enough to compete.
