As the general manager of WWE Raw, Adam Pearce has seen it all over the years — brawls, sneak attacks, brutal matches, Final Bosses, Tribal Chiefs, and more. Every week brings something new to WWE’s flagship show.
Because of that, Pearce can never predict what’s coming. And on Monday, March 10, during the steel cage main event between Seth Rollins and CM Punk, a surprise return sent Pearce rushing toward the ring to prevent further chaos.
Adam Pearce Reacts After Laying Hands on Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns made his long-awaited return to WWE after nearly two months away, getting involved in the Rollins vs. Punk steel cage match. Reigns struck first, hitting Rollins with a Superman punch and a spear before setting him up for a curb stomp on the steel steps at ringside after pulling him from the ring. (Reigns pulling Rollins from the ring actually gave Rollins the win over Punk.)
Just as Reigns was about to deliver the stomp, Pearce could be seen on camera sprinting to the ring to stop the attack. Pearce had no choice but to lay hands on Reigns in an attempt to de-escalate the situation. He later summed it up in three words on Instagram.

After Pearce managed to stop Reigns from stomping Rollins, the Tribal Chief turned his attention to Punk, hitting him with a spear as Paul Heyman watched. The fallout from this moment will be interesting, seeing as Punk isn’t one to let things slide.
Could Reigns Be on a WrestleMania Collision Course With CM Punk and Seth Rollins?
The rumor mill is buzzing after Reigns’ return, with speculation that WWE could be setting up a WrestleMania triple-threat match. After attacking both Rollins and Punk, it’s clear they’ll both be looking for revenge.
A Reigns vs. Rollins vs. Punk match could headline Night 1 of WrestleMania 41, with all three being among WWE’s biggest stars. There are plenty of storylines at play, given their history.
Rollins and Punk have had one of WWE’s hottest feuds this year, delivering exciting promos and two Raw main events, including the Netflix premiere’s headline match.
Meanwhile, Reigns and Rollins have been at odds for over a decade, ever since the former betrayed The Shield. They’ve clashed multiple times over the years, including at WrestleMania 31, when Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to win the WWE Championship by pinning Reigns.
Could this be the moment Reigns finally gets his revenge on Rollins at WrestleMania? Will Punk emerge victorious? Or will Rollins silence the doubters and defeat both rivals? Perhaps we’ll find out at WrestleMania 41.
