Week 6 is here in the NFL, and fantasy football managers have a lot to sort through this week. With byes becoming approaching in full force, that is just another factor to look at. Another issue for fantasy managers is finding the right matchup for players.
With that in mind, here are some guys that fantasy managers need to look to avoid because of bad matchups at the WR position. What defenses should we be staying away from heading into Week 6?

Fantasy Matchups Week 6: Be Weary of These WRs
Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers vs. Dallas Cowboys
Allen is putting up solid numbers this year, as he is 10th in yards (434) and 11th in catches (44). With WR Mike Williams out for the year with a torn ACL, Allen has become even more important to the Chargers’ offense.

While his numbers for the year are good, they are a little misconceiving. In a win against the Minnesota Vikings earlier in the season, Allen had 18 catches for 215 yards. In the other three games he played this year, he has just 17 catches.
Another issue for Allen is his matchup this week. The Cowboys have one of the best pass defenses in the league. Entering the weekend, Dallas ranks second in pass defense and is allowing 168.6 yards.
Nico Collins, Houston Texans vs. New Orleans Saints
Collins has been outstanding to start his second year, as he is currently eighth in receiving yards with 467 — he has been making explosive plays all year. Collins is averaging 18.7 yards per catch, which ranks second only to Chicago Bears’ pass catcher DJ Moore (19.7) among players with at least five catches.
Collins has had three big games this year where he has had at least six catches and 80 yards. He has developed a great rapport with Houston rookie QB C.J. Stroud, but he will have a tough matchup on Sunday.

The Saints have one of the best defenses in the NFL, especially against the pass. Through five games, New Orleans is allowing 183 yards, which ranks fifth in the league. The defense has allowed an opponent to score more than 18 points one time this year, which was a 26-point effort by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The defense absolutely suffocated New England last week in a shutout. While the Texans have a better offense than the Patriots, this is still a tough matchup. New Orleans is going to show Stroud some things he hasn’t seen yet this year and force him into his first career interception.
DeAndre Hopkins, Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens
Hopkins is coming off his best game as a Titan. He found eight catches for 140 yards against the Indianapolis Colts. While that is a great sign for Hopkins, the Ravens are much tougher to pass the ball against.
Baltimore is currently third in the league in pass defense, allowing 175.0 yards per game. Indianapolis, on the other hand, is 28th and allowing 262.8 yards.
Ronald Darby and Marlon Humphrey are two very solid corners, and they match up much better against Hopkins. Roquan Smith and Patrick Queen are two great linebackers with elite speed, and they will also make it tougher to get the ball in the middle of the field.
