Caitlin Clark’s Former Coach Hypes WNBA Star’s ‘Scary’ Form As Bulked-Up Photo Goes Viral Amongst Fans

Caitlin Clark is putting in the work, and the results? Terrifying.

The Indiana Fever superstar has been grinding in the gym this offseason, and fans have definitely noticed. A new photo of Clark surfaced online, showing her looking stronger than ever, sparking wild reactions from WNBA fans. But it wasn’t just the internet taking notice—one of her former coaches is hyping up her transformation, too.

Former Coach Acknowledged Clark’s Gym Grind

Iowa Hawkeyes assistant coach Raina Harmon pulled up on Clark and shared a photo of her looking noticeably bulked up, captioning it:

“Pulled up on my dawg and she was WORKING! Them scary hours gon’ have ’em like 😱.”

Clark reposted the image, adding one simple word: “Family.”

With the WNBA season just two months away, it looks like Clark is ready to take things to another level. Clark has already proven she belongs in the WNBA, but she’s not settling. After a record-setting rookie season, she’s back in the lab, getting stronger, faster, and even more dangerous for Year Two.

The viral gym photo first caught fans’ attention during the Big Ten women’s tournament on March 7, when Clark was spotted cheering on her former Iowa squad. Her arms looked noticeably more muscular compared to last season.

Clark’s transformation definitely made her stronger. But apart from that, it’s about prepping for the grind of an 82-game season. After leading the league in assists (8.4 per game) and putting up 19.2 PPG, she’s clearly not satisfied. Her work ethic is showing, and her coach sees it too.

The Fever Are Ready for Takeoff

With Clark leveling up this offseason, expectations for the Indiana Fever are through the roof.

Clark isn’t just hitting the weights—she’s gearing up for an even bigger takeover after a historic rookie season. She led all rookies in points (19.2), assists (8.4), steals, and minutes, proving she was built for the league from day one.

Not only that, but she shattered records, setting the WNBA single-season assist mark with 337 while shooting a ridiculous 90.6% from the free-throw line—the second-best percentage in the league. If that wasn’t enough, she also made the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game. Now? She’s coming back stronger, sharper, and ready to dominate Year Two. The league has been warned, she’s ready to lead Indiana to the next level.

Mark your calendars: May 17, Gainbridge Fieldhouse—Clark and the Fever host Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky to kick off a new era.

And if Clark’s offseason work is any sign of what’s coming? WNBA defenses better start game-planning now.
