Angel Reese was dominating the WNBA before a left wrist injury in September cut her rookie season short. Chicago Sky fans were hopeful she’d be fully recovered for the upcoming season. However, Reese suffered another injury while competing in the Unrivaled 3×3 League for the Rose Basketball Club.
Angel Reese’s Wrist Injury Update After Rose BC’s Victory Over Vinyl BC
Reese sustained the injury in the second half of a 74-46 win over Laces BC, a game that has drawn attention due to her apparent re-injury.
A viral clip shows Reese walking to the locker room with a towel over her head, clutching her left wrist—the same wrist she injured last year.
After the game, Rose BC head coach Nola Henry provided little detail on Reese’s condition. “No update on Angel, but hopefully, we’ll have one soon. Sending her our best wishes,” Henry said.

Kate Martin Fact-Checks the Viral Claim Involving Reese
Reese has been at the center of several recent controversies, but she was also falsely linked to another. An Instagram post claimed Reese pushed for Martin to be removed from the Unrivaled League, but Martin quickly shut down the rumor.
Martin personally messaged the original poster, who later shared a screenshot of the conversation along with an apology.
“Hey man, that post about Angel wanting me out of Unrivaled is completely untrue,” Martin messaged the user. “I try to stay out of social media BS but I couldn’t let that one slide. I don’t like misinformation like that out there.”
I love Kate.

Martin has been dealing with an injury of her own, missing the last seven games for Laces BC. Her return timeline is uncertain, leaving both Reese and Martin as question marks for Sunday’s semifinal.
