Angel Reese’s stardom seems to be growing day by day. To help matters even more, her team, Rose BC, has claimed the inaugural Unrivaled Championship.
Reese could not participate in the final clash against the Vinyl BC led by Rhyne Howard, but that did not stop her from celebrating passionately.
Angel Reese Shows off Her Intense Side After the Rose BC Claim Victory Over the Laces BC
On Monday, Rose BC, led by Chelsea Gray in the Chicago Sky forward’s absence, defeated Vinyl BC 62-54. Bayou Barbie suffered a wrist injury during the final regular-season game and was sitting out.
While Reese was not in attendance in Florida to watch her teammates lift the hardware, she was with them in spirit and via Facetime. After the victory celebration, Reese joined her team during the press conference on Facetime.
However, she took to X (formerly Twitter) to show off her intensity to all the naysayers, who became vocal after the 22-year-old was named the Defensive Player of the Year in Unrivaled. “WHAT YALL GON SAY NOW??” she tweeted.

The 2024 SEC Player of the Year did not stop there. After getting her name etched among the first-ever Unrivaled champions, she has set her eyes on the WNBA. A few minutes after her initial tweet, she came back with a warning for other WNBA sides.
“Year 2. Talk soon,” she tweeted.

Chicago fans would be hoping for a quick recovery for Reese and to lead them to the promised land.
Gray Shouts Out Reese for Her Support From the Bench
After the emphatic victories in the semifinals and the final, the Las Vegas Aces point guard Chelsea Gray has demonstrated to take the game past the winning lines without Reese’s support.
However, during the semifinal clash against the Laces BC, Reese made her presence felt despite not playing. Gray highlighted her contributions after the semifinal victory.
“It’s great,” Gray said regarding Reese’s presence. “She brings the energy whether she’s on the court or off the court, and tonight was no different.”
“I heard her all the time when our play defensively or offensively was going our way. When it wasn’t going our way, I still heard her. So, she’s a presence out there, she’s very, very vocal, and so we needed that energy.”
Gray took over the game in the finals, displaying her skill with a half-court buzzer-beater shot in the third quarter that changed the tide of the game in Rose’s favor. With 18 points, 8 assists, and 3 rebounds to her name, Gray was named the Finals MVP.
