Caitlin Clark Lauds the Chiefs for the Win Over the Chargers

The Chiefs are without their trusted kicker Harrison Butker, who is out due to an injury. However, his replacement Matthew Wright did not disappoint the fans. The veteran scored two field goals in the last quarter, the winning kick coming in the last seconds of the game.

The Chiefs won 19-17 and have made a strong case for getting a first-round bye in the playoffs. This prompted Clark to end her X (formerly Twitter) break and post a celebratory tweet in honor of the Chiefs.

“Bank is open …. CHIEFSSSSSSSSSSS,” she tweeted after a gap of nine days. Her previous tweet was also for the Chiefs, she celebrated their victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.

After this victory over the Chargers, the back-to-back champions have a record of 12-1 and in the process have clinched the AFC West title as well.

Patrick Mahomes Opens Up on the Chiefs’ Historical Victory

“It’s our first goal every single year — to win the AFC West,” Mahomes said. “[This] was an important game for us against a really good football team. We found a way to get a win, but now we have to keep building if we want to get to our ultimate goal.”
