Will Taylor Swift Be at Super Bowl 58? NFL Insider Comments on Las Vegas Appearance With Swift on Tour

Taylor Swift has been a polarizing figure amid coverage of her appearances at Chiefs games. With KC's win over the Ravens, will she be attending the Super Bowl?

Taylor Swift has become a polarizing figure in the NFL world this season after her numerous appearances at Kansas City Chiefs games to support boyfriend Travis Kelce. With the Chiefs advancing to Super Bowl 58, Swift is grabbing attention again on Sunday with speculation swirling as to whether she will be in attendance for the game.

Will Taylor Swift Attend Super Bowl 58?

Whether Swift might attend the game became a topic of interest on Sunday, particularly given the fact she has a concert Saturday, Feb. 10 in Tokyo, Japan.

Before the AFC Championship Game, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported, however, that sources told him she does plan to attend the Super Bowl if Kelce’s Chiefs win. The time change in traveling from Japan back to the United States makes it feasible for her to get to Las Vegas for the game by Saturday evening, well before Sunday’s 6:30 p.m. ET kickoff.

Tokyo is 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas in time, meaning Swift would move back a day while returning to the U.S. during her travel as she would cross the international date line.

Swift has been shown numerous times on broadcasts of Chiefs games, celebrating plays by Kelce or simply playing along in group dances. The pair seemingly began dating in late August of 2023 before Swift attended Kansas City’s contest against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 24, the first of several appearances at Kelce’s games.

Kelce was previously spotted attending one of Swift’s Eras Tour concerts at Arrowhead Stadium.

Swift’s appearances at NFL games have reportedly generated an equivalent brand value of roughly $331.5 million for the Chiefs and NFL, Apex Marketing Group told Front Office Sports. The figure includes print, digital, radio, TV, highlights, and social media dating back to Swift’s first game.

Her attendance has also come amid a slightly down year statistically for Kelce, who finished the regular season with 93 catches for 984 yards and five touchdowns. It was the veteran tight end’s first season not to eclipse 1,000 yards since 2015 (along with putting up his fewest touchdown grabs since 2019 and second-fewest catches since 2017).

Still, he was Kansas City’s leading receiver throughout the regular season and has remained a key target in the playoffs, including a strong performance in the AFC Championship Game, with 11 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown.

Now, he hopes to help lead Kansas City to their third Super Bowl win in five years. Another championship would give Kelce three rings in his career across four appearances in the league’s biggest game.
