Well, the NFC was a little less competitive than we expected. Coming into the Divisional Round, the Philadelphia Eagles were favored by more than a touchdown against the New York Giants. Ultimately, the Eagles flexed their muscles and will now be moving on to the Conference Championship.
Potential Eagles Opponents in Championship Round
The Eagles have been the class of the NFC for most of the season. With one of the most dynamic offenses in the league, they have not only been the favorites to represent the conference but to win the Super Bowl altogether.
Jalen Hurts was an MVP candidate for most of the season until a late shoulder injury forced him to miss some time. But he returned to help lead the team to the top spot in the conference.
The New York Giants came into the game with a ton of momentum. They were fresh off a 31-24 defeat of the Minnesota Vikings, a team that finished the year as the No. 3 seed in the NFC.

Behind the outstanding performances of Saquon Barkley and Daniel Jones, there was hope the Giants could compete with the Eagles. Unfortunately for Big Blue, that was not the case.
Now, the Eagles will look ahead to the Conference Championship. Who might they play next week? Well, that will depend on who wins in the Dallas Cowboys vs. San Francisco 49ers matchup.
The 49ers are currently four-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook at home against America’s team. Buoyed by the impressive play of rookie QB and 2022’s Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy, the 49ers have one of the best offenses in football. They also currently have the third-best odds of winning the Super Bowl.
Dallas, on the other hand, is coming off one of their best games of the season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Can either compete against the Eagles? We will soon find out.
