Monday Night Football Tonight, Week 11 | Buccaneers vs Rams Game Preview
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been as advertised, not only are they the winners of the offseason, but they have also been winners on the field. Their 7-3 record makes them one of the NFC’s elite, and their 7-1 record against teams not named the Saints makes it look even better.
Their offense relies heavily on the passing game and big plays from the running game. Ronald Jones’ speed makes him a threat on every play, but he’s not going to methodically wear a defense down. If he lacks the big-play potential, the Bucs usually cut him out of the gameplan; he’s had less than 15 carries in five of the 10 games this season. Considering the Rams have the fifth-best run defense in the NFL, expect that to be the case this week.

Week 11’s Monday Night Football matchup will be won or lost on the arm of Tom Brady. He’s found his elite form again this year, and a lot of that has to do with his receiving core. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are two of the NFL’s best receivers, and Antonio Brown recently joined the crew. Jalen Ramsey can take one of them out of the equation, but the Rams lack the cornerbacks to be able to shut down the other two. The Rams will try and get pressure to make up for that, but the Bucs have had one of the NFL’s best offensive lines this season.
On the other side of the ball, the Rams rely on balance. Their running game doesn’t rely on only one back, but that plays heavily into their gameplan every week. However, the Bucs have the best run defense in the NFL, which makes achieving that balance difficult. Can Jared Goff win this game on the strength of his play? That all depends on which Goff shows up. Is it the Goff who threw the ball 61 times and only put up 17 points against the Dolphins, or is the Goff who shredded the Bears’ defense?
So much of this game relies on the uncertainties of an inconsistent quarterback. That’s why the Bucs are likely to get the win in the Rams vs Buccaneers Week 11 matchup, though it’ll be a close game.
Monday Night Football Tonight, Week 11 | Score Prediction: Buccaneers win 27-24
