Trevor Siemian is the New York Jets' starting quarterback in Week 16, marking their fourth starting QB of the season. Who is his wife?

The New York Jets‘ season has been a whirlwind. In Week 16, the Jets will start their fourth quarterback of the season. Due to a Zach Wilson concussion, Trevor Siemian will get the start.

Having been in the NFL since 2015, Siemian has had his fair share of NFL success. He isn’t the only athlete in his family, though. His wife, Bozena Podkopacz, is also one. Who is she?

    Who Is Bozena Podkopacz?

Podkopacz was born on Oct. 15, 1991, and raised in Plymouth, Minnesota. She was born to her parents, Marcy and Jerry Podkopacz.

She attended Wayzata High School, where she played soccer and ran track. She was a two-time all-conference player and set a school record in the 100-meter dash.

She attended Northwestern University for college, where she majored in Learning and Organizational Change.

Siemian also attended Northwestern from 2010-2014, where he majored in Communication Studies.

The two met at Northwestern while they both were athletes. Siemian played quarterback for the football team from 2010-2014, and Podkopacz played for the soccer team from 2010-2013.

Before graduating, Podkopacz interned at Evanston Art Center and was a product specialist at the Gatorade Management Program.

Following her graduation in 2014, she went on to study law at the University of Denver, Colorado. She is now a lawyer.

Siemian proposed to Podkopacz in 2018 while the two were riding on a ski gondola in Colorado. They got married in 2019.

The couple have since had three children: Ty Siemian and his two twin sisters. Ty was born in December 2020, and the twins were born in February 2023.

Although Podkopacz’s sports career ended after college, Siemian’s didn’t. Siemian passed for 5,931 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 24 interceptions in college. He was later drafted in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos, where he stayed for three seasons.

Since leaving Denver, Siemian has been an NFL journeyman. He has played for six different franchises (Seven if you include Denver), including the Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, Tennessee Titans, New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears, and Cincinnati Bengals. He is currently in his second season with the Jets, his first since 2019.

In his NFL career, Siemian has had action in 37 games, passing for 7,203 yards, 42 touchdowns, and 30 interceptions.

He has a 13-17 record as a starting quarterback. Most of his numbers came from his time in Denver when he started 24 games.
