    Who is singing the National Anthem at the Steelers vs. Raiders Sunday Night Football game? Grammy-winning singer Jordin Sparks will take the stage.

    The Pittsburgh Steelers will be traveling to Las Vegas to take on the Las Vegas Raiders to end the Sunday slate of NFL games during Week 3. With this being the home opener for Las Vegas, all the stars have come out to celebrate. One of those stars just so happens to also be singing the National Anthem ahead of the contest.

    Jordin Sparks To Light Up the Field at Allegiant Stadium

    Before Jimmy Garoppolo and the Raiders take to the field in front of their home crowd, singer Jordin Sparks will sing the National Anthem.

    According to the Raiders’ official press release, Sparks is a Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum artist who garnered worldwide attention as the season six winner of American Idol.

    Cumulatively, Sparks’ popular singles have sold over 10 million digital tracks in the U.S. Among her many talents, Sparks is also a gifted songwriter. Ariana Grande’s smash single, “The Way,” was co-written by Sparks and earned her a B.M.I. songwriting award.

    As exciting as it is to have Sparks sing the National Anthem, as the final notes echo through the stands, two squadrons from Nellis Air Force Base, United States Air Force Weapons School will do a flyover.

    Raiders vs. Steelers Set To Be an Important AFC Battle

    Both of these teams have struggled on offense through the first two weeks of the season, as they each rank in the bottom three in yards per game. After a really impressive preseason, Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett has struggled so far this season, with his 19.9 QBR being the lowest in the NFL.

    Meanwhile, for the Raiders, Josh Jacobs is hoping to get back on track after rushing for negative yards last week.

    For the Steelers, this will be their first road game of the season. Yet, it will be the Raiders’ home debut and Jimmy Garoppolo’s first regular-season game playing in front of the Las Vegas crowd.
