Week 2 of the NFL season will wrap up with a two-game special on Monday Night Football, the first of which will be between the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers. Singer/Broadway Actor To Perform Before Game
Singing the National Anthem before a sporting event is quite an honor. The fans in the stands come together for the last time and put their differences aside before their two teams take the field against one another.
Players and coaches alike get those few moments to remember how lucky they are to play the game they love on the biggest stage.
The man who will get that honor on the national stage ahead of the Saints-Panthers game is singer/broadway actor Roman Banks. Banks is a young entertainer who has spent time on Broadway as well as on-screen roles, making the choice for the honor exciting and deserved.
Who Is Roman Banks?
Banks is an actor and musician who is best known for his role in “Dear Evan Hansen” on Broadway. Banks was the first BIPOC actor to portray Evan in that role at the time and has since guest-starred as Howie in “High School Musical: The Musical,” a series on Disney+.

Following his on-screen role on Disney+, Banks took on a role on TikTok’s first-ever live-streamed musical, “For You, Paige.” He later signed on to play Michael Jackson in “MJ,” which will be coming to the Belk Theater in September of this year.
Much like a lot of the younger generation these days, Banks has amassed quite the following on social media, which has helped grow his stardom to new heights as the 24-year-old entertainer seems to be on the rise in his career with a very promising future ahead of him.
