Erin Andrews Has Worked for Both ESPN and FOX
Andrews’ career as a sports broadcaster began back in 2000 with FOX Sports Florida. After two years covering the Tampa Bay Lightning for the Sunshine Network, Andrews would go on to work for Turner South as a studio host and reporter. In 2004, she joined ESPN, working as a reporter for their NHL coverage.
During Andrews’ early years at ESPN, she reported on a number of different events. These included the College and Little League World Series, the Scripps National Spelling Bee, and the Great Outdoor Games before working as a sideline reporter for college football, college basketball, and MLB. Andrews hosted the first hour of “College GameDay” on ESPNU, as well as being a featured reporter on the full program.
Andrews made the move to Fox Sports in 2012, where she hosted the FOX College Football studio show. During her career, Andrews has received several prestigious awards. She’s been honored with a Gracie Award, was named the recipient of Vince Lombardi’s Award of Excellence, and became the first female recipient of the Pat Summerall Award in 2022.

In 2010, Andrews took part in Dancing with the Stars, placing third. She would go on to host the show from 2014 onwards, remaining the host as of the 28th season. Andrews also hosted the CMT Music Awards in both 2015 and 2016. In 2021, Andrews and fellow FOX colleague Charissa Thompson launched a podcast titled “Calm Down with Erin and Charissa.”
Andrews’ other ventures include charitable work for Kraft Foods Huddle to Fight Hunger campaign and co-hosted the “Music Builds: CMT Disaster Relief Concert” to raise money for the American Red Cross’ response to the April 27 tornadoes in Oklahoma.
