Who Are the Semifinalists for the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame 2024 Class?

On Wednesday, the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame announced 60 semifinalists in the Senior and Coach/Contributor categories for induction in 2024. The Hall of Fame’s Senior committee nominated 31 semifinalists, while the Coach/Contributor committee announced 29. Let’s run through the complete list of nominees as the Hall of Fame begins its annual process.

Semifinalists for the 2024 Pro Football Hall of Fame Class

Typically, the Senior committee and Coach/Contributor committee are allowed to send 25 nominees each for consideration. However, if there is a tie for the 25th position, each committee can send additional nominees. This year, there were multiple ties for the final slot on each committee’s list.

The committees will meet and reduce each list to 12 players, which will be announced on July 27. On Aug. 15, one coach or contributor will be selected for final consideration. On Aug. 22, three senior players — those who played no later than 1998 — will be nominated for final review in 2024.

The Senior and Coach/Contributor lists do not include potential modern-era nominees for the Hall of Fame, which are typically announced in November.

Here are the 60 semifinalists for the 2024 Pro Football Hall of Fame class in the Senior and Coach/Contributor categories.
