Who are the risers and fallers in the Week 12 Power Rankings?

Week 11 saw the number one team in our Week 12 Power Rankings silence any doubters with a crushing victory over Houston. Let's take a look at who else left an impression this past week.

    25. Arizona Cardinals (3-7-1, Last Week: 25)

Week 11 Result: Lost to San Francisco, 36-26

For the second time in three weeks, the Cardinals played the 49ers very tough. But just like their Week 10 encounter, Arizona came up short after the 49ers scored with 30 seconds to play, then had a crazy fumble return for a touchdown as time expired, sending Arizona to their fourth straight loss. Arizona is showing signs of a promising future with Kyler Murray and Kliff Kingsbury. Arizona finally has their bye week next week, but they could be a tough win for their opponents down the stretch.

    26. Denver Broncos (3-7, Last Week: 23)

Week 11 Result: Lost to Minnesota, 27-23

It was looking like Denver was cruising toward an upset in Minnesota. Then they went and did something no team had done in five seasons and blow a halftime lead of at least 20 points, as the offense went completely silent in the second half. It was another gut-punch of a loss in a season full of them for the Broncos. It’s made even worse when you see the Chiefs not running away with the division as many expected before the season.

    27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-7, Last Week: 27)

Week 11 Result: Lost to New Orleans, 34-17

To the surprise of no one, the Buccaneers were absolutely shredded by the Saints. Jameis Winston threw another four interceptions, bringing his season total to 18. The next closest on that list is Baker Mayfield, with 12. That’s not the way you want to leave an impression heading into a potential free agency situation.

    28. Miami Dolphins (2-8, Last Week: 28)

Week 11 Result: Lost to Buffalo, 37-20

The Dolphins came back to Earth a bit with their 17-point loss to the Bills. On the bright side, they improved their standing in the draft thanks to wins by the Jets and Falcons, as well as losses by the Steelers and Texans.

    29. New York Jets (3-7, Last Week: 30)

Week 11 Result: Defeated Washington, 34-17

Sam Darnold certainly didn’t see any ghosts this week. Just a lot of the end zone. Four times, to be exact, as the Jets easily took care of the Redskins. On the heels of two straight wins, they can open some eyes and stun some people if they can pull the upset of the Raiders next week.

    30. New York Giants (2-8, Last Week: 29)

    Week 11 Result: Bye

Sterling Shepard cleared concussion protocol and hopefully for good this time. The Giants had a week to rest after a disappointing result against the Jets. They get the sluggish Bears next week.

    31. Washington Redskins (1-9, Last Week: 31)

Week 11 Result: Lost to New York Jets, 34-17

Washington finally scored an offensive touchdown as Dwayne Haskins threw his first two career touchdowns in the NFL. Derrius Guice also scored in his return from another knee injury. Overall, the Redskins are still a mess up and down the board, but at least they have a win on the board.

    32. Cincinnati Bengals (0-10, Last Week: 32)

Week 11 Result: Lost to Oakland, 17-10

The Bengals, however, do not have a win on the board. Cincinnati held tough with Oakland and kept a game within one possession for the first time since Week 6. However, that’s about all you can positively say about the Bengals. Zac Taylor matched Dave Shula for the worst start as a head coach in Bengals’ history and they became the first team since “at least” 2002 to be eliminated from the playoffs this early in the season. While some are wondering if the Bengals will actually finish 0-16, they may actually have a chance Sunday against the Steelers, with how banged up and sluggish the Steelers looked after Thursday.
