Who Are the Quarterbacks for the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl?

We will see some of the NFL’s top quarterback talent on display at the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl taking place this week. The games take place in Orlando, Fla., and start on Thursday, Feb. 1.

Of the six named QBs, only one of the original nominees is still on the roster, so which NFL QBs will be at the Pro Bowl in 2024?

Which Quarterbacks Are at the 2024 Pro Bowl?

The rosters are voted on by NFL fans and contain some of the most popular personalities in the game. However, many players have announced they won’t be participating or are unavailable because their teams have made the Super Bowl.

    NFC QB Pro Bowl Roster

    Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts replaces Brock Purdy on the Pro Bowl roster, with the San Francisco 49ers QB unable to attend due to his involvement in the Super Bowl. That means that Hurts gets the chance to head to Orlando, as he wasn’t able to attend last year because he played in the Super Bowl.

The Eagles QB passed for 3,858 yards and 23 touchdowns while also rushing for 15 TDs; he joins fellow teammates Lane Johnson, Jason Kelce, Landon Dickerson, D’Andre Swift, Darius Slay, and Haason Reddick on the NFC Pro Bowl roster.

    Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield is another call-up for this year’s Pro Bowl, replacing Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott on the roster. Prescott is unable to attend as his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, is due to give birth.

It marks the first Pro Bowl appearance for Mayfield, who passed for 4,044 yards and 28 touchdowns in 2023.

    Geno Smith, Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith replaces Matthew Stafford on the NFC roster and is heading to Florida for the NFL Pro Bowl. Stafford is out because of injury, leading Smith to step in and attend his second Pro Bowl in as many years.

Smith is one of six Seahawks players to be in attendance, with DK Metcalf, Nick Bellore, Bobby Wagner, Devon Witherspoon, and Julian Love also getting the nod.

    AFC QB Pro Bowl Roster

    Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa makes the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career and is the only remaining quarterback from the originally named roster. The NFL reported that Tagovailoa received the third most votes for the 2024 Pro Bowl only behind Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey, showing just how popular the Dolphins’ signal-caller is.

Tagovailoa led the league in passing yards in 2023 (4,624) while passing for 29 touchdowns, so his inclusion is not surprising.

    C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans

C.J. Stroud has been called up as a replacement, with Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson both being unavailable. Despite being a replacement, no one can argue with the inclusion of Stroud on the roster.

The rookie seems a shoo-in for Offensive Rookie of the Year after reviving the Houston Texans and guiding them to the 2023 NFL Playoffs.

    Gardner Minshew II, Indianapolis Colts

Gardner Minshew II is another call-up to the Pro Bowl roster, having originally been listed as an alternative. It caps off an unbelievable year for Minshew, who started the year as the backup to Colts rookie QB Anthony Richardson.

Starting 13 games in 2023, Minshew passed for 3,305 yards and 15 touchdowns. There is no doubt that Minshew will bring flair and fun to the Pro Bowl Games, but the NFL has had to well down its list to land on Minshew for a call-up.
