Terrion Arnold is a top cornerback in the 2024 NFL Draft. Born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, Arnold played football and basketball at John Paul II Catholic High School. After playing wide receiver and safety in high school, the four-star recruit committed to the University of Alabama to play cornerback.
Arnold redshirted his freshman year and didn’t play a game as he transitioned positions. In Week 6 of 2022, he recorded his first collegiate interception against Texas A&M before breaking up a pass in the end zone to help Alabama maintain their No. 1 ranking.
From that moment forward, Arnold’s career blossomed, being named a first-team All-American and first-team All-SEC in 2023.
Arnold credits his parents, specifically his mother, for his successful college career. Let’s get to know Arnold’s parents.
A Look At Terrion Arnold’s Parents
One of the youngest players in this draft, Arnold was born on March 22, 2003, to Tamala Arnold in Tallahassee. Meaning, at just 21 years old, Arnold will not turn 22 until he prepares for his second season in the NFL.
Getting To Know Arnold’s Mother
Tamala had Terrion at a young age in Florida and had to overcome a lot in order to raise her son to become a successful student-athlete and an eventual NFL Draft prospect.
During the NFL Combine, Arnold looked into the camera and shared a viral, heartfelt message to his mother.
“I just want to say, Tamala Arnold, I love you,” he said. “I’m right here. The whole world is watching, and I am blessed to have you as a mom.”
In his heartfelt message, Terrion promised to keep shining and succeeding in his career, just like she wanted him to. He acknowledged that Tallahassee is a difficult place to make it out of and hopes that everybody from his hometown is proud of him.
Does Arnold Have Any Siblings?
