Warner became an NFL Network analyst when he retired in 2010 after 12 seasons with the St. Louis Rams, New York Giants, and Arizona Cardinals. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017.

Erdahl has hosted Good Morning Football weekdays on the NFL Network since arriving at the network in 2022. She worked for CBS Sports as a sideline reporter for the NFL, SEC football, and the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Erdahl served as an analyst for women’s basketball games on CBS Sports Network. She played basketball and softball at St. Olaf College before transferring to American University.

Kurt Warner Has Special Memories of Titans

Entering the 1999 preseason, the St. Louis Rams planned for Kurt Warner to be the backup quarterback behind Trent Green. The plan changed when Green, who signed a four-year free agent deal, suffered a season-ending knee injury in the third exhibition game.

Warner took over as the starting quarterback, and his storybook career took off that season. His only regular season NFL experience was 11 pass attempts in the final game of the 1998 season.

Warner and the Rams won the first six games in 1999 on the way to a 13-3 record, the best in the NFC. He was named NFL MVP after throwing for 4,353 yards with 41 touchdowns and 13 interceptions during the regular season. The Rams defeated the Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC playoffs to advance to Super Bowl XXXIV.

Three field goals and a Warner touchdown pass gave the Rams a 16-0 lead over the Tennessee Titans in the third quarter. Steve McNair rallied the Titans back to tie the game with just over two minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Warner threw a 73-yard touchdown pass to Isaac Bruce on the first play from scrimmage after the Titans tied the game at 16. McNair got the Titans down the field looking for a game-tying score, but wide receiver Kevin Dyson was stopped at the 1-yard line as time expired.

Warner was named Super Bowl MVP after passing for 414 yards and two touchdowns. He made two other Super Bowls but lost both games in the final seconds.
