Former Georgia tight end Brock Bowers is coming off a spectacular collegiate career. During his three seasons at Georgia, Bowers had 175 catches, 2,538 yards, and 26 touchdowns. The Bulldogs also won two national championships in his first two seasons, and his total record in college was 42-2.
Bowers is one of the best tight end prospects to ever enter the NFL Draft, and he has a chance to be a big-time NFL player. Before he was starring on the football field, though, he was being raised into a man by Warren and DeAnna Bowers.
A Look At Brock Bowers’ Parents
Brock was born to Warren and DeAnna Bowers on Dec. 13, 2002, in Napa, California.
Before they became parents, Warren and DeAnna met during their days as students at Utah State University. Both were terrific athletes during their days at Utah State and helped Brock become the athlete he is today.
Competitive spirit has been an important part of the family, as Brock has stated numerous times how competitive his family has been. It doesn’t matter what they are doing, his family is always competing to be the best.
Getting To Know Bowers’ Father
Football has been in the family for some time, and Warren was a very talented football player in his own right. Warren played center for the Aggies from 1990-1992 and was named a two-time All-Big West center.
After he played college football, Warren went on to run a successful construction company. He has helped to instill a discipline and work ethic in Brock that has made him one of the very best prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft class.
Getting To Know Bowers’ Mother
Maybe the best athlete in the family is DeAnna Earsley-Bowers. Like her husband, DeAnna was a very good collegiate athlete during her time at Utah State. She played softball for the Aggies and is one of the best players in the school’s history.
DeAnna is one of just seven softball players from Utah State to earn All-American honors, and she helped the team make the NCAA tournament in 1992 and 1993. In her senior season, she won 26 games and posted a 0.82 ERA with 130 strikeouts.
After her softball career, DeAnna became a high school math teacher, but she kept softball a big part of her life by continuing to coach the sport.
Does Bowers Have any Siblings?
Yes, Brock Bowers is the youngest of two children, as he has an older sister. As you can imagine, his sister Brianna Bowers is also a terrific athlete. Having followed in her mom’s footsteps, she played college softball at Sacramento State.
