Iconic London Stadium Site of 2023 Contest
Wembley Stadium will host the latest London contest for the NFL.
The venue has hosted prominent soccer events like the men’s World Cup in 1966, the Vitality Women’s FA Cup Final of April 2023, plus numerous concerts. The place also hosted the World Wrestling Entertainment Summerslam in 1992.

This marks the third time the Falcons will play in London. They’re 1-1 all-time overseas, but their 2014 meeting with the Lions was a loss at Wembley.
The Jaguars are regulars in London. The Jags have played in nine contests at Wembley before their Sunday showdown. Jacksonville holds a 4-5 overall record in the venue.
How Many Seats Are in Wembley, and How Much Do Tickets Cost?
Wembley is one of the largest venues in Europe.
The stadium has a seating capacity of 90,000. With that number, it’s the largest stadium in the United Kingdom.
But is it the largest in Europe? Wembley is only the second-largest sporting venue on that continent. Camp Nou in Barcelona, Spain, holds the title of Europe’s largest sporting venue with 99,354 seats.
Are tickets expensive for the Jaguars and Falcons? And are they just as pricey as an average NFL ticket sale in America?
Per Vivid Seats, tickets were available as low as $23. Other prices varied between $60 to $90 at some lower-level seats. The most expensive were the club-level seats — ranging between $500 to $923.
London has been the host of the NFL’s International series since 2007. The one year the league didn’t have the International games was in 2020 due to COVID-19. The 2021 game was then played twice at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2021.
