Obviously, all of the talk right now is about this season’s Super Bowl, but it is never too early to take a look at next season.
The Super Bowl moves every year, and the big game is in Las Vegas in 2024. While Las Vegas appears to be a perfect spot for the Super Bowl, many different places across the United States could be perfect destinations for the big game as well.
So, after the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers finish their game, it will be time to look ahead at Super Bowl 59. With that in mind, where will the NFL host the big game next season?
Super Bowl 59 Location
The Super Bowl will be headed back to New Orleans in the Caesars Superdome. This will be the 11th time that the Super Bowl has been in New Orleans, which will tie Miami for the most in one city in NFL history.
It will be the eighth Super Bowl in the Superdome, and this year’s Super Bowl was actually supposed to be in New Orleans. When the league went from 16 to 17 games, that pushed the game back a week, and there was a conflict with New Orleans on that day.
That forced the change, but New Orleans fans will be getting to experience another Super Bowl soon enough.
Classic Super Bowl Moments in New Orleans
There is a reason why New Orleans will be tying Miami next year with 11 all-time Super Bowl games: the city is perfect for this kind of celebration. There have been some incredible Super Bowl moments in the Big Easy, with a couple standing out more than others.
Baltimore vs. San Francisco (2013)
The 49ers were also in the most recent Super Bowl in New Orleans, as they took on the Baltimore Ravens in the “Harbaugh Bowl.” Jim Harbaugh was the coach of San Francisco, while John has been the guy in Baltimore for a long time.
The game was one of the most entertaining games in recent memory. The Ravens were clicking on all cylinders early, as Jacoby Jones took over early. He had a deep touchdown catch while also taking the second-half kickoff back for a touchdown.
The Ravens were in complete control, but the power went out for a few minutes, and then the 49ers nearly pulled off one of the best comebacks in Super Bowl history. Baltimore was able to hold on, winning 34-31, and Joe Flacco was able to win the MVP of the game.
New England vs. St. Louis Rams (2001)
When you look at the history books on the NFL, this game is an important part of the chapter. The Los Angeles Rams were led by an offense that was regarded as The Greatest Show on Turf. With Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk, Torry Holt, and Isaac Bruce, the team could score on anyone.
Also, the Rams were going up against a young quarterback named Tom Brady. Well, as we know, all that he did in that game was lead the team down the field to get a win, with Adam Vinatieri making the game-winning field goal.
That game slowed down a future dynasty in St. Louis and started what has become one of if not the best dynasties in the history of the NFL. That was the first of seven Super Bowl wins for Brady, putting him in a league by himself.
New England vs. Chicago (1985)
One of the most popular teams in the history of the NFL was the 1985 Chicago Bears. Led by one of the most dominating defenses in the history of the game, the Bears put together one of the best seasons in league history.

In the game against the New England Patriots, the Bears completely dominated the game, winning 46-10. During the game, William “Refrigerator” Perry was a dominating defensive tackle and scored a rushing touchdown in the game.
The team was led by coach Mike Ditka while also having one of the best running backs in league history in Walter Payton. Very few teams have dominated a season like that Bears team, and they capped it off in New Orleans in a big way.
