When Is the 2023 Senior Bowl?
The Senior Bowl game is on Saturday, Feb. 4. Kickoff commences at 2:30 p.m. ET, pitting the American Team and National Team against one another after a full week of practices and interviews. The game will be aired live on NFL Network.
The Senior Bowl game caps off an eventful week in Mobile. But NFL evaluators and scouts will pay just as much, if not more attention, to the practices throughout the week.
There will be three practice sessions for both the American Team and the National Team, spanning from Tuesday, Jan. 31, to Thursday, Feb. 2. This year, the National Team is scheduled to hit the field first. On each day, they’ll practice from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. After them, the American squad will roll through from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Each practice session provides valuable opportunities to see prospects in confined, controlled settings where they can showcase their natural traits. One-on-one drills among receivers, cornerbacks, and linemen are always heavily observed. But team drills are just as important.
Beyond the work on the field, NFL evaluators will also be looking at how prospects interact with their surroundings, coaches, and teammates in a new environment, searching for culture cues that can help them narrow down their search ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Each position group will be coached by a different NFL staff member with a team affiliation, giving coaches an up-close look at prospects, their athletic gifts, and their learning habits.
It’ll be a busy week for all involved but an incredibly beneficial one as well. And all the work is capped off by the official Senior Bowl game on Saturday, Feb. 4. Last year, the National Team got the better of the American Team. Let’s see if the American Team can exact revenge.
