We’ve got you covered with everything you need to know about the league’s annual awards show, which will be held just days before Super Bowl 58.

    Finalists Revealed for NFL Honors

Finalists for each of the night’s eight major awards were released on Thursday, solidifying top contenders that had largely been assumed throughout the season.

The most prestigious award, Most Valuable Player, has five finalists who have been heralded among the frontrunners throughout the season. Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen, Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott, and San Francisco 49ers teammates QB Brock Purdy and RB Christian McCaffrey were named the five finalists for the award.

Allen led the Bills to a dramatic late-season turnaround that saw them finish second in the AFC, as he threw for 4,306 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 18 interceptions, alongside 524 rushing yards and 15 more scores across 17 regular-season starts. Jackson was his usual lethal self as a runner and passer as well, throwing for 3,678 yards, 24 touchdowns, and seven interceptions while running for 821 yards and five scores in 16 starts.

Meanwhile, Purdy and McCaffery combined as key parts of one of the league’s most potent offenses in San Francisco. Purdy threw for 4,280 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in his first full year as the 49ers’ full-time starter, while McCaffrey ran for 1,459 yards and 14 touchdowns and had 564 receiving yards for seven more scores.

Prescott led the Cowboys to an impressive regular season on the strength of one of the best individual performances of his career, completing 69.5% of his pass attempts for 4,516 yards, 36 touchdowns, and just nine interceptions while adding 242 yards and two scores on the ground.

Allen, Jackson, and Prescott were each included as finalists for the Offensive Player of the Year award as well, while Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb and Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill also made the cut for the award, with Purdy and McCaffrey not listed.
