With three days left until Super Bowl 58, the NFL has unfinished business as fans await the NFL awards. When are the awards announced tonight?
Here’s when fans can watch as comedian and producer Keegan-Michael Key returns for the third time to host the 13th annual NFL Honors, including the time, channel, and live stream options.
When Are the NFL Awards Announced Tonight?
The NFL has held the NFL Honors the week before the Super Bowl for the last 13 years. Since 2022, it’s been on Thursday night in the game’s host city.
The festivities begin tonight at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada, at 9 p.m. ET. The night will surely be full of surprises with many close races in many of the NFL awards.
2024 NFL Honors
- Start time: Feb. 8, 2023, 9 p.m. ET
- Channel: CBS, NFL Network
- Live stream options: Paramount+, NFL+
An exciting award this season will be the AP Coach of the Year, as almost all the finalists have a case to be made as to why they should win. Let’s start with Houston Texans rookie HC DeMeco Ryans.
The Texans were a laughing stock the last few seasons, shuffling through head coaches. After a severe investment in Ryans this past offseason, the former 49ers defensive coordinator turned things around in Houston with rookie QB C.J. Stroud, taking the Texans back to the playoffs for the first time since 2019 — quite an impressive start to his tenure.
Meanwhile, two head coaches tasked with turning around their respective franchises finally saw positive outcomes this season.
Cleveland Browns HC Kevin Stefanski has done wonders for the Browns’ success on the field since taking over in 2020. Despite starting five different QBs under center this season, Cleveland still won 11 games on the back of a suffocating defense.

Meanwhile, Dan Campbell led the Detroit Lions to a dominating performance all season with a 12-5 record while clinching the NFC’s No. 3 seed and an NFC North title. Campbell and the Lions had marched to the NFC Championship Game before ultimately losing a heartbreaker to the San Francisco 49ers.
This leads to the final two candidates here due to pure domination. Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers wreaked havoc across the NFC all season long. However, there was one guy who outcoached him.
Baltimore Ravens skipper John Harbaugh coached one of the best seasons under his watch as the Ravens looked unstoppable all season long, clinching the AFC’s No. 1 seed.
While every candidate is more than deserving of winning the award this season, fans will have to wait until 9 p.m. ET when the NFL awards begin.
