The Pat McAfee Show has grown quite a following. The former NFL punter has built himself up to be one of the most popular young media personalities in the industry, and he did it his way.
With loyal listeners who have continued to tune in even through the transition period from YouTube to the massive sports powerhouse ESPN, it’s safe to say McAfee has been a massive success.
However, his loyal viewers may soon realize that there’s no new show to speak of. We discuss why that is and what’s to come next for McAfee and his show.
Is Anything Amiss With The Pat McAfee Show?
No need to fret; nothing has happened to The Pat McAfee Show, and it’s not going anywhere. If you flipped on ESPN and tried to catch the latest episode of the show and were met with something else, there’s a reason for that.
By design, The Pat McAfee Show will be off-air on a scheduled break from Feb. 19 to March 1. During the show’s break, SportsCenter will be aired from noon to 3 p.m. on ESPN.

ESPN is using this time during the lull of the NFL season to give their football talent a break before the league year begins once again on March 13.
It’s a well-earned break for McAfee as he has had his hand in many things over the year, including his work with College GameDay and commentary for World Wrestling Entertainment.
When Will The Pat McAfee Show Return?
Once McAfee’s hiatus from the airwaves is concluded, it will be right back to their usual slot and shenanigans he and his fans enjoy so much. Starting March 4, they will air new episodes from noon to 2 p.m. ET on ESPN and noon to 3 p.m. ET on ESPN+ and YouTube.
With the NFL once again taking center stage with free agent signings, schedule releases, and other important offseason dates they use to control the calendar, McAfee and the boys will be at the forefront of innovative interviews with a wide array of guests and information fans can enjoy.
