Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs
- Start time: 8:15 p.m. ET

Kansas City has had an interesting 2023 so far. Between losing the season opener to the Detroit Lions and ironing out yet another retooled offense under QB Patrick Mahomes and the Travis Kelce/Taylor Swift hoopla, the 2023 NFL season has been very eventful for the reigning Super Bowl champions.
The Chiefs head into Week 6 riding a four-game win streak and hoping to win the first of three straight AFC West divisional matchups. Kansas City hosts Denver before hosting the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 7 and then going to Empower Field at Mile High to take on the Broncos in Week 8. If the past few weeks indicate anything, the games against the Broncos shouldn’t be too difficult.
The Chiefs are scoring on 47.1% of their drives this season, while the Broncos defense has allowed scores on 52.7% of drives, the second-worst in the NFL. Additionally, Mahomes and the Chiefs offense have gone three-and-out on 11.8% of their drives this season, the second-best in the league. The Broncos are forcing opponents to go three-and-out on just 10.9% of drives, the worst in the NFL.

Kelce is questionable after sustaining a low-ankle sprain last week. The All-Pro TE was able to play in the second half last week after going to the locker room early, but he will be hampered. Mahomes will need his WR room to pick up any slack against a Denver defense allowing the most points per game (36.2).
