What is the Thursday Night Football channel, and when does the NFL game start tonight? Here’s how to watch the showdown between the Eagles and Vikings, including the start time and channel.

What Channel Airs the NFL Game Tonight?

Thursday Night Football returns to Prime Video after NBC aired the season opener. The only time Thursday Night Football will move again is when NBC broadcasts a game on Thanksgiving night. The Eagles got two features on Amazon’s video streaming service this week when “Kelce” aired on Tuesday. Here’s how to watch the NFL game tonight.

    Minnesota Vikings at Philadelphia Eagles

    • Start time
      8:15 p.m. ET
    • Channel
      Prime Video

The Eagles started hot in Week 1 against the New England Patriots in their 25-20 victory. Things fizzled off on the offensive side in the second half as Jake Elliott kicked three field goals after 16 first-quarter points to fend off New England’s comeback bid. The Eagles had six drives that ended in four plays or less.

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is a defensive mastermind, and while Philadelphia struggled, it shouldn’t be too much of a concern. If the Eagles offense struggles tonight, some changes may have to be made even with RB Kenneth Gainwell ruled out.

Since the start of the 2022 season, the Vikings have allowed an average of 394.2 yards from scrimmage per game, the second-worst in the league. Meanwhile, the Eagles’ offense has been rolling in that same span, with the third-best average at 397 yards.

Specifically, Philadelphia WRs have averaged 206 yards per game since Week 12 last season, where the Vikings have allowed 183.9, the third-worst in the league. Eagles QB Jalen Hurts should have no problems finding space in the defense and getting the passing offense back on track on Thursday Night Football.
