With Super Bowl 57 set to kick off on Sunday, there is only one other significant event left for the NFL to complete: The 2023 NFL Honors. The league’s 12th annual awards show honors players for various awards. With a night full of fun and emotions, where can you find the NFL Honors channel and live stream options? Here’s all the information you need to watch the 2023 NFL Honors on Thursday night.
What Channel Is the 2023 NFL Honors on Tonight?
- Channel: NBC, NFL Network
- Live Streams: Peacock, NFL+, fuboTV
NBC hosts the NFL Honors at 9 p.m. ET Thursday night with a simulcast on NFL Network. The first-ever “American Idol” winner and “The Voice” coach Kelly Clarkson will host the NFL’s 12th annual awards show. Many awards are set to be announced live, including a large group of Associated Press awards which will feature a new voting system in 2023.
To ensure accuracy and transparency, a panel of 50 NFL journalists will now rank their top five selections for MVP and the top three selections for all other awards. While the original format had no issues identifying the winner, the new system will allow AP to communicate second and third place for awards.

One of the more popular awards people want more information on is the Most Valuable Player. For the 2023 NFL Honors, AP announced that QBs Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, and WR Justin Jefferson were the five finalists. With the MVP being QB dominated, the new system should allow NFL fans to see just how much of a difference there was between the first and second place in the voting, like the Heisman Trophy.
The finalists also open up the ability to see who would be the runner-up for other awards. In the past, viewers were forced to wait for the show to see who won. Now, there is somewhat of an idea about who is officially in the running. As everyone prepares to see who hoists the Lombardi Trophy, the NFL Honors is an excellent way to look back at the 2022 season before it ends.
