MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — The Miami Dolphins are a seriously banged-up team. Seven projected starters did not practice Wednesday, including left guard Isaiah Wynn, who might not play again this season due to a significant quadriceps injury.
So it’s only fair to wonder if it might be a busy Dolphins trade deadline cycle in 2023 — particularly on the offensive line, which could be without three starters Sunday against the New England Patriots.
We got an answer from Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel on Wednesday.
From the current NFL standings to team depth charts to coverage of every game in the 18-week NFL schedule, we have all the news from around the league to keep you up to speed!

Here was his response in full:
“You know what I think to the credit of, first and foremost, the, the actual players that we have on the roster and then to, you know, our, our personnel department led by Chris Grier, I’m very, very comfortable with everybody on the roster.
“We were talking about this back in, back in August, about how much depth we have. And we’ve continued to progress as a football team. So we’re fortunate that we have high-quality players across the board in terms of depth at positions.
“I’m not looking for really anything at all. Who knows what Chris is doing. But he hasn’t come knocking on my door or in my office about anything. He’ll always be doing his job. But I’m very happy with the roster that we have, even with the slight adversity that we’re facing.”
Grier is one of the most active general managers in football, and he has already made a move this cycle, trading for wide receiver Chase Claypool a few weeks back.
On the trade deadline day last fall, he made deals for both pass rusher Bradley Chubb and running back Jeff Wilson Jr.. He has also in recent years acquired Jalen Ramsey and Tyreek Hill via trade.
