‘What A Child’ – Former Commanders Owner Dan Snyder Is Seething About Playoff Run, and Washington Fans Love It

The Washington Commander’s ownership change has done wonders for the franchise, and Dan Snyder’s departure is not the only thing fans can celebrate. From rotting at the bottom of the league for most of the 21st century, the Commanders made it to the NFC Championship game for the first time in 34 years.

Washington entered the 2024 NFL season as the underdogs. Last season, the franchise finished with a disappointing 4-13 record. However, it showed signs of improvement this season and entered the postseason with a 12-5 record.

The Commanders toppled the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a thrilling Wild Card Round contest. Many thought the Detroit Lions would send the Commanders home, but rookie QB Jayden Daniel and Co. pulled off a huge upset.

While the fans are overjoyed with the Commanders’ postseason run, the former owner doesn’t seem to be a fan. The NFL world reacted to Snyder’s feelings about Washington’s success.

Fans React to Dan Snyder’s Hatred for Commanders’ Success

Snyder bought Washington’s franchise for $800 million from Jack Kent Cooke in 1999. After the acquisition, the Commanders made the playoffs only six times in 24 years. They won only two Wild Card Round matchups and never suited up for the Conference Championship Game.

Cut to the 2024 NFL season, just 19 months after Snyder sold the franchise, the Commanders are one of the final four contenders for the Super Bowl.

Snyder organized a dinner with his former associates in London this past fall, and one of his companions told an NFL insider that Snyder hated the Commanders’ great start to the regular season.

“He f—ing hates it,” the companion’s statement read.

Snyder was despised for being an awful, cheap owner who had a sexual harassment complaint against him. So, the fans were elated to hear about his displeasure. They flocked to the comment section to take a dig at the former Commanders’ owner.

“What a child,” a user said.

“Makes me so happy,” one fan added.

“It’s always embarrassing as the boss to realize that you were indeed the problem!” another chimed in.

One fan enjoyed Snyder’s anger, saying, “Nothing makes me more happy, as a lifelong Washington fan, to read that “Mr. Snyder” is mad! Lol. Enjoy it buddy.”

More fans joined the party, and one had a brutal opinion. “Worst owner in all team sport history,” the comment read.

A fan seemed to love Snyder’s pain, “What a sad bitter little man. All the money in the world won’t fix him.”

The Commanders are set to face the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday. The last time Washington advanced past the Divisional Round, they eventually went on to win the Super Bowl. Fans hope to see the franchise do it again this season.
