The Top Players To Add in Week 3
Jerome Ford, RB, Cleveland Browns
As an analyst, you certainly wish that you didn’t have to talk about the fantasy fallout of a catastrophic injury so quickly. Nick Chubb is done for the year after a gruesome injury that he suffered on Monday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and fantasy managers now need to know where to turn.

Jerome Ford was someone that I was pounding the table for drafting all offseason. He had potential standalone value but also the upside if something were to happen to Chubb. Unfortunately, that situation has now played out, and fantasy managers who don’t have him on their rosters will have to pay up.
He stepped in immediately in Chubb’s absence and proceeded to put up a dominant fantasy performance with over 100 rushing yards on 6.6 yards per attempt, 25 receiving yards on three receptions, and he added a touchdown!

We need to be concerned about a player like Kareem Hunt returning to Cleveland off of the free agent market, but the Browns could have added him this entire time, and they chose not to because of their belief in Ford. This is his backfield, and he should be the No. 1 option on waiver wires everywhere because of it.
Skyy Moore, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
Fantasy managers who panicked and went against the advice of us here at the Pro Football Network and dropped Skyy Moore after one week are kicking themselves now. Yes, Week 1 was a bad performance for Moore and the Chiefs’ pass catchers, but he rebounded nicely in Week 2 with a WR25 finish in half-PPR scoring formats.
This Chiefs’ receiving corps should only get more sorted out as the season progresses, and Moore has the talent to be a solid fantasy contributor alongside Travis Kelce. You want WRs in dynamic offenses — Moore certainly fits the bill. If someone made the mistake of dropping him in your league, make them regret it and go scoop up the talented WR.
