Depending on the type of fantasy football league you’re in, wide receivers can be some of the most impactful players on your fantasy football roster. With PPR leagues being a popular choice among fantasy players, having several reliable and healthy wide receivers is a necessity to win games each week. We have you covered with our Week 12 injury updates as the season moves past the halfway point. In Week 11, the wide receiver injuries were few and far between, but players such as Juju Smith-Schuster and Deebo Samuel could impact fantasy rosters for Week 12, so stay up to date with our fantasy injury report.
[sv slug=”fantasy”]The biggest injury question marks for fantasy wide receivers heading into Week 12
Every week in the NFL, players go home with bumps and bruises. However, there are some large questions that loom over the fantasy football landscape that need to be addressed for Week 12. Some of those questions include players like Juju Smith-Schuster, John Brown, Deebo Samuel, Kenny Stills, and Kenny Golladay in the fantasy injury report for Week 12. Below are their injury status as well as more week 12 injury updates on other wide receivers around the league — those of which are sorted by conference.
Is Juju Smith-Schuster playing in Week 12?
During the Steelers’ Week 11 win over the Jaguars, wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster suffered a toe injury that kept him out for the remainder of the game after catching four of his five targets. Whether or not he’ll be available for their Week 12 matchup against the Ravens is up in the air for now. Expect Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool to get the majority of the looks from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and running back Jaylen Samuels to get several looks from the slot alignment.
Will John Brown be ready to face the Chargers in Week 12?
After playing against the Cardinals in Week 10 following a knee injury, John Brown ends up on the injury report this week after tweaking his ankle, even with the bye week. He remains questionable for the Bills’ Week 12 matchup with the Chargers, but keep checking our Week 12 injury updates. While Stefon Diggs has been playing lights out for the Bills, Brown’s injury could mean more looks for Cole Beasley, who is a viable option on the waiver wire against a choppy Chargers secondary.
Deebo Samuel appears to be ready to play in Week 12
Dealing with a hamstring injury, San Francisco 49ers’ wide receiver Deebo Samuel is expected to be ready to play against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12, according to coach Kyle Shanahan. Samuel did not play in the 49ers’ loss to the Saints in Week 10, but with extra time due to the bye week, Samuel will be ready to go for Week 12. With the offense missing several key contributors, including Kendrick Bourne and Brandon Aiyuk, Samuel’s presence will be necessary against the Rams improving defense.
Kenny Stills’ quadriceps injury may not keep him out in Week 12
After suffering a quad injury against the New England Patriots, Kenny Stills still hasn’t been ruled out for the Houston Texans’ Week 12 matchup against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day. Stills and fellow Texans’ receiver Randall Cobb were both knocked out of the Week 11 game, but Stills should be able to play against Detroit. If Stills and Cobb aren’t available, Keke Coutee may be a viable waiver wire addition before Thursday.
With Kenny Golladay missing Week 11, what is his outlook for Week 12?
Kenny Golladay missed the Lions’ Week 11 matchup against Carolina with a hip injury, and his status remains unknown going into the short turnaround for Week 12. Golladay has been sidelined for several weeks due to the injury and has shown little progress in rehabbing the injury. With other injuries in the Lions’ receiver room, look for Marvin Jones to garner a lot of attention from Matthew Stafford, while Marvin Hall and Quintez Cephus see quality snaps.

Michael Thomas, Cincinnati Bengals (Hamstring)
Michael Thomas was inactive due to a hamstring injury for the Bengals’ game against Washington in Week 11.
Randall Cobb, Houston Texans (Foot)

Laviska Shenault, Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars (Hamstring)
Jaguars’ rookie receiver Laviska Shenault, Jr., was held out of their Week 11 matchup, despite returning to practice. He will likely need more time to recover from his hamstring injury to be ready for Week 12.

Sammy Watkins was held out of the Week 11 matchup against Las Vegas but is hopeful to play in Week 12.
Adam Humphries, Tennessee Titans (Concussion)
