It’s Week 10 of the 2023 NFL season already, and fantasy football managers have plenty of tough decisions ahead of them as they set their starting lineups this morning.
Here is my last-minute advice as you navigate these tough situations, along with my top Superflex rankings going into this fantastic week of fantasy football! I’d wish you good luck, but you’re not going to need it.
Week 10 Fantasy Football Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em
Should You Start James Conner in Week 10?
The veteran RB has officially been activated off of injured reserve, and he will make his return to the Arizona Cardinals’ starting lineup here in Week 10 against the Atlanta Falcons. Things will look plenty different for James Conner now though as compared to when he went on IR back in Week 5.

Kyler Murray will be the starting QB for Arizona as opposed to Joshua Dobbs — who is now in Minnesota — and this offense should be much improved from what we’ve seen in recent weeks. The question for fantasy managers will be whether or not you can trust him in his first game back from dealing with a knee injury.
With four key teams out on bye this week, the rankings are pretty slim, and fantasy managers who have been holding onto Conner this entire time most likely need him back in their lineup badly. He’s worth starting in Week 10, but as a low-end RB2 option only if you’re in a pinch. I’d prefer to take a wait-and-see approach with him.

Should You Start Ja’Marr Chase in Week 10?
It feels ridiculous to ask such a question, but Ja’Marr Chase has been the subject of numerous start/sit questions directed my way over the past day or so due to his back injury that he suffered in Week 9. The latest reports are that Chase will play for the Bengals in Week 10 after going through his pregame warmup routine.
Chase was at practice on Thursday and Friday in a limited fashion, but he’s unlikely to be at 100 percent in this matchup against the Houston Texans. Additionally, Derek Stingley Jr. will be back for the Texans, and he’s expected to cover Chase for a good portion of the game.
With all that being said, there are some key players missing from fantasy lineups this week at the WR position with injuries and byes. If you have Chase, knowing that he’s active for this game, you’re starting him due to his talent level and the fact that Tee Higgins is out for this matchup. He’ll see plenty of volume to offset any lack of explosiveness with his back injury.

Should You Start Jahmyr Gibbs in Week 10?
This will be the biggest question for fantasy managers going into this week of NFL action. Should you start Jahymr Gibbs with David Montgomery back in the lineup?
While Gibbs has been fantastic with Montgomery sidelined, we know what his workload has been like when both players are healthy and active. Montgomery’s been the clear lead option, while Gibbs has been a rotational player at best.
However, have the past few weeks changed Dan Campbell’s perception of Gibbs and his role in the offense? We’ll find out the answer here this week, but we need to make lineup decisions well before that point.
With the information that we have before us at the time of writing, Montgomery is the better start at the RB position in fantasy football this week. However, Gibbs still remains within the top 20 of rankings for me personally, and it’s a solid matchup for both of these players to feast from a fantasy standpoint.

We’d love to see both players be top options for fantasy, but there’s a very low floor for Gibbs until we see how the coaching staff deploys both players now that they’re fully healthy again.
