President Donald Trump confirmed he would be the first sitting president of the United States of America to attend the Super Bowl live in person.
As the broadcast began and the live performance of the national anthem began, the camera cut to Trump in the stands, and the crowd was decidedly ready for it.

The Trump family cut a patriotic figure with everyone holding hands to their heart as the anthem played along. The commander-in-chief, on the other hand, held a tight salute to show respect to the country.
As the broadcast showed him on the big screen, the crowd roared along, drawing a massive reaction for the winner of the 2024 presidential election.

It was confirmed that Trump would be attending the event, and the president even made a pick for who would emerge victorious at the big game, drawing the massive pedigree of Patrick Mahomes as the major reason for siding with the Kansas City Chiefs.
“I guess you have to say when a quarterback wins as much as this one, I have to go with Kansas City. At the same time, Philadelphia is fantastic, it’s just going to be a great game,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News.
In particular, he had some glowing praise for his wife, Brittany Mahomes. “I hate to do it. I just say that I’ve watched this great quarterback, who by the way, has a phenomenal wife. She’s a Trump fan, she’s a MAGA fan, so I happen to love her, OK?”
Having the president of the country in attendance is certainly a big deal, and the team he believes will win showed their awe over his attendance.
When asked about it, Mahomes seemed ecstatic at the prospect of being able to perform in front of Trump, claiming, “It’s always cool to be able to play in front of a sitting president, someone that is at the top position in our country.”
Travis Kelce also acknowledged the honor of the moment: “That’s awesome, it’s a great honor no matter who the president is.”
With the rematch from two years ago set for a date in New Orleans, and with superstars like Kendrick Lamar and SZA set to take the Super Bowl Halftime Show by storm, it should be an electric atmosphere that President Trump walks into.
