Beast Mode in the Amish Country

Lynch must be one of the most entertaining personalities on TV, anywhere. He has developed quite the TV anthology lately with his celebrity appearances.

Lynch is becoming a screen and stage star, making appearances on The League, Westworld, Murderville, and 80 for Brady.

    Lynch’s NFL Career

The Buffalo Bills selected Lynch with the 12th pick in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. Lynch sustained immediate success in the NFL, running for over 1,000 yards during his rookie campaign. He was the first rookie RB to run for over 1,000 yards for Buffalo in 20 years.

Lynch picked up where he left off during his second season, running for over 1,000 yards again, but this time, the NFL recognized Lynch with a Pro Bowl bid. Lynch was the first Bills Pro Bowl RB since Travis Henry in 2002.

Lynch’s third season got off to a rocky start as off-the-field issues popped up. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor weapons charge during the 2009 offseason. Following NFL Commissioner Roger Goddell’s disciplinary hearing, Lynch was suspended for the first three games of the season. The suspension was held up upon appeal.

Unfortunately for Lynch, his absence and unavailability cost him his starting position. Fred Jackson stepped in and ran for 1,000 yards, making Lynch superfluous. Lynch ran for 450 yards in 2009.

Lynch began his fourth season with the Bills but wouldn’t finish the year with the team. Prior to the NFL trade deadline, the Bills traded Lynch to the Seattle Seahawks for fourth and fifth-round picks.

Lynch made his mark with the Seahawks during the playoffs following the 2010 season. He ran for 737 yards in 2010, but his “Beast Quake” run cemented his Seattle legacy forever. The crowd went into a frenzy, generating a reading on a seismograph 100 yards from the stadium.

During the 2011 season, Lynch scored in 11 consecutive games, breaking the franchise record previously set by Shaun Alexander. Lynch made the Pro Bowl again and was rewarded by the team with a four-year contract extension.

Following the 2012 season, Lynch made the Pro Bowl again and was named an NFL All-Pro. Better things were on the horizon for Lynch and the Seahawks.
