Will Levis’ Year 2 in the NFL did not help in raising his stock. The Tennessee Titans quarterback suffered from injuries and was benched as well.
Now, as draft day approaches, the Titans will be thinking long and hard about how to use the No. 1 overall pick. Former quarterback Warren Moon has an idea as he analyzes Levis’ future.
Warren Moon Shares His Take on Will Levis’ Future With the Titans
Moon knows what it takes to be a quarterback with the franchise (known as the Houston Oilers during his tenure), and he doesn’t shy away from predicting Levis’ future. The nine-time Pro Bowler appeared on the “Up & Adams Show” and was asked to break down the issues surrounding Tennessee’s 25-year-old QB.
“He does some good things, but he also does some things that make you scratch your head. But he’s a young quarterback, and again, he’s gone through some coaching changes, so I don’t know,” said Moon.

“I’m not with him every day. I don’t really know what his makeup is, his personality is, any of those things. But that’s something that the Titans know very well, because they’ve watched him now for two years.
“I don’t think he finished the season as their starter this year. I think it was Mason Rudolph. I’m not sure what they’re going to do, but I have a sneaking suspicion they’re going to probably go out and try and get another quarterback.”
Levis Is Working Hard To Stay With the Titans
Levis registered 2,091 yards and 13 touchdowns in 12 games this season and received a ton of criticism for his throwing technique. Per Titans head coach Brian Callahan, Levis will work with quarterbacks coach/consultant Jordan Palmer, who helped refine Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen’s technique.
“I really think Jordan is one of the better guys out there right now in terms of working with pro quarterbacks,” Callahan said. “Some of the footwork, the base, and some of the pocket movement things that have to improve. But I’m excited about that for him.”
Callahan has stated that Levis will be under Palmer’s tutelage for about two months. He did not reveal whether this would deter Tennessee from drafting a QB or not.
