    Wake Forest corner Ja’Sir Taylor visits Chargers, previously visited Giants, worked out for Bengals, Chargers

    Wake Forest corner Ja'Sir Taylor maintains a busy schedule with a Chargers visit in advance of the 2022 NFL Draft.

    Wake Forest cornerback Ja’Sir Taylor visited the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly. Taylor previously visited the New York Giants and worked out privately for the Cincinnati Bengals and Chargers leading up to the 2022 NFL Draft.

    Ja’Sir Taylor visits with multiple NFL teams

    At the East-West Shrine Bowl Bowl, Taylor was honored as the practice player of the week. He was selected to the all-star event after recording 185 career tackles and 6 interceptions for the Demon Deacons. Taylor holds the school career record with 62 games played.

    He was an honorable mention All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection. He was an ACC Specialist of the Week in September and had 153 career solo tackles, including a career-high 60 last season.

    Taylor was the first player in school history to have a kickoff return for a touchdown and an interception in the same game against Old Dominion. Two seasons ago, he recorded 42 tackles, 2 interceptions, and was named a team captain.

    The New Jersey native rushed for 544 yards and 11 touchdowns as a high school senior and ran the 100 meters in 10.74 seconds.

    At the Wake Forest Pro Day, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds, including a 1.54 10-yard split. He bench-pressed 225 pounds 12 times. Taylor (5’11”, 188 pounds) recorded a 37-inch vertical leap, a 10’5″ broad jump, a 4.25 short shuttle, and a 6.84 three-cone drill.
